A tool to simplify booking service appointments.
Project Overview
To design a user-friendly and intuitive website and mobile application that allows users to easily book services for salons, gyms, doctors, lawyers, accountants, and more. The goal is to provide a convenient and efficient way for users to book appointments with various service providers, saving them time and effort. Additionally, an admin panel will be developed to help service providers manage their bookings and profiles effectively.
My Role
As the UI/UX Designer for this project, my primary responsibility was to create an intuitive and seamless user experience for both the website and the mobile application. This involved conducting user research through surveys and interviews to understand user pain points and preferences, analyzing competitor platforms to identify strengths and weaknesses, and developing user personas.
Problem Statement
People seeking services from salons, gyms, doctors, lawyers, and accountants often have difficulty finding and booking appointments with reliable and qualified service providers. The current process is often time-consuming, confusing, and frustrating, leading to a poor user experience. There is a need for a solution that provides a convenient and efficient way for users to book appointments with various service providers, while also ensuring that they can easily find reliable and qualified professionals in their area.


Definition Phase
Created personas, as they provide a clear understanding of the users, which leads to more effective design solutions that meet the needs of the users and ultimately result in a better user experience.
User Persona 1: Service Owner
Priya has been running her own salon in Mumbai for 15 years. She is known for her personalized services and has a steady stream of loyal customers. However, as her business has grown, managing appointments, client records, and staff schedules has become increasingly complex.
Pain Points

Struggles with efficiently tracking bookings and avoiding overbooking or double-booking clients.
The admin panel allows Priya to manage all appointments in one place, reducing the risk of overbooking.
Finds it challenging to manually send appointment reminders and follow-up messages, leading to missed appointments.

Needs a more effective way to attract new clients and highlight her services and positive reviews.
A detailed profile on the platform helps Priya attract new clients by showcasing her services, pricing, and reviews.

Rohan is a tech-savvy professional who values convenience and efficiency. With his busy schedule, he often needs to book appointments for various services such as haircuts, gym sessions, and medical check-ups, but finds the process time-consuming and cumbersome.

Ideation Phase
The ideation phase began with extensive user research to uncover the core needs and challenges faced by both users and service providers. We conducted interviews, surveys, and user observation sessions to gather qualitative and quantitative data.

Users: They needed a streamlined booking process with easy access to reliable and qualified service providers. Many found the current booking methods cumbersome, leading to frustration and inefficiency.
Service Providers: They required an easy-to-use admin panel to manage their bookings, profiles, and schedules effectively. Providers also expressed the need for a platform that could help them reach a broader audience and manage customer interactions seamlessly.
Final Design
The final design phase focused on refining the wireframes into polished, high-fidelity designs that offered a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
